Knowledge vs. Skills – which affiliate marketing program is right for you?

When I was attending University my passion was the sciences, but my strengths were always with writing. So I delved into various writing/copywriting programs over the past few years, paid for some training that promised and guaranteed success – and although I’d gained some knowledge, I hadn’t gained the skills that I needed in order to create a way to make a living – and the costs associated with even starting to implement what I had learned was way more than I could afford. It seemed as though I was in a constant state of studying, but never in a position to ever achieve that “A”.

And then I stumbled onto Wealthy Affiliate

So far, in the short time I’ve been a member, I’ve found it to be full of support from the other members – we’re all learning from each other, in addition to the formal training courses and live classes.  Some who have been in the business for many years, and have had much success with the tips and techniques that they share!

The 2 training paths will train you in the direction you want to go – either starting out with your own niche, or becoming an affiliate of the program. Personally, I’m going to do both, since you always want to have more than one stream of income!

The tech support assisted me with an issue within minutes of submitting a request – that just doesn’t happen!

I’ve gained both knowledge and skills to put a plan in action for generating an online income, and I’ve only just begun.

I’ll admit that I needed to know how stuff works, so it’s taking more time than I’d like to develop my sites – other’s can just click a button and it works, and that’s all they need to know – which is really all you have to do here!

This is not a “get rich quick” scheme. This is real education, and real work is needed to put into it – like everything worthwhile in life. But it’s fun, too! And it’s not going to cost thousands of dollars.

Did I mention that it was FREE to start?

By the time you reach lesson 3, you’ll be building your own website, with the potential to be earning commissions while you’re still learning, while you’re still adding content and building your site!

You can completely run your business as a free member for as long as you like. However, you’ll receive more advanced training and access to ALL the features of the program if you decide to join as a premium member.

Click here to see what is available to you at both levels of membership, and decide for yourself.

  1. Hi Sionnan123,
Sounds like Wealthy Affiliate is the place to learn all about affiliate marketing.
I have been in that situation where I always seem to be learning but never actually making any money, so I will definitely take a closer look at Wealthy Affiliate.
I know keyword research is a big part of marketing, can you tell me if Wealthy Affiliate has any training on keyword research?
    Thank you
    Kerry
